His unbelievable voice convinced the judges and the public that he deserves to be one of America’s Idols. He’s a controversial character, maybe because of his theatrical appearances in the show and outside it. Adam Lambert: Gay or Not, American Idol Is Hot
One of the 13 finalists of American Idol Season 8 is Adam Lambert, who impressed the judges and the audience at each of his performances in the reality show. Born in 1982, Adam Lambert inclined towards acting and costumes and show since early childhood. He has a great voice and an impressive scene presence.
In his last performance, “Mad World” by Tears for Fears, on April 7th, he got a standing ovation from Simon Cowell. He was really outstanding, offering his own interpretation of this wekll-known song. He surely stands a good chance to win the American Idol in 2009, because the audience seems to like him very much, too.
One of the latest rumours is that Adam Lambert may be gay. Some websites even scoured the net and found some videos proving or suggesting that Adam is gay. One of these videos in from The Zodiac Show, Crawl Through Fire, in which Adam Lambert appeared with a make up which reminded me very much of Queen’s Freddie Mercury. Yet, a video clip, a show performance cannot prove anything, so many of Adam’s fans still doubt the fact he may be gay.
Gay or not, what difference does it make, anyway? Adam Lambert proved he can sing and he can sing very well, he is able to impress an audience and the judges, he can act, if needed, he can show more than one face to the public. He is surely an artist, whether or not he is going to win the season 8 of American Idol, the popular Fox TV show.
